The video work Part 1: Time deals with chronic illness’ relation to time. The work depicts the friction between the spaces and rhythms of the ableist, normative society and the sick or crip time of a body.
The work is based on Elina Niinivaara’s and Salome Tuomaala-Özdemir’s autoethnographic research notes.
